Before & After – Crawlspace

If the crawl space is ventilated, it aids in the elimination of moisture, then fiberglass insulation can be easily installed under the subfloor between the floor joists. If the crawl space isn't ventilated, insulate the walls and floor rather than the subfloor.

Before & After – Basement

Even single walls that are around plumbing, hot water heaters, the A/C or furnace should be insulated so radiant energy is not transferred or pulled from the sources attempting to cool or heat your home and resources.

Before & After – Basement

Blanket insulation in a large basement. Concrete is a poor insulator. Standard thickness basement concrete walls have an R-value of approximately 1.1 - about the same as 3/4" particleboard. This makes massive surfaces from which to lose or waste energy.
